Hi, I’m Laura
I have been in the hospitality industry since before university and I love it!  Why? Simply put, because I love working with people.  And whilst I have worked with celebrities and royalty, in the corporate, public and private sectors, my favourite people are people like you… couples who have two unique stories that have become entwined into one, that you want to share with the people in your lives who mean the most to you.

I realised a long time ago, when you could only marry in the registry office or church and have your reception in a hotel or village hall (now I do sound old, but it wasn’t that long ago!) that you lose something when a wedding conforms to a given format, and that something is identity.  Whilst uniforms, SOPs and daily schedules create order in the workplace – and I am not saying my own business doesn’t have them – your private lives are when you get to truly express yourselves, do what you like, how you like, because the reality is we are all different and there is no more an important occasion to express who we are, than a life event.

So, this is the basis upon which I love to work: throw the rule book and preconceived ideas out of the window, start every event from a blank canvas, and question everything.  This is also why our motto for the last 10 years has been… “Your Day, Your Way”.

None of my weddings are the same, in fact the only thing that they have in common is that every couple wanted to do something different, and I was more than happy to oblige.  As a result, I know couples and suppliers both agree that we create fabulous and unique events unlike anyone else.  So, if you would like to see your event from a different perspective or just don’t know how to tell your story, share it with me and we will put something truly amazing together.

Meet my team


Claire

This is Claire, our Creative Director.  She’ll style anything!  Her background is in property development and home-styling but she is also a passionate silk florist.  When it comes to flowers, Claire’s motto is definitely “Less is NOT more”.  Claire has styled homes, shop windows, weddings and will even style your wardrobe if you let her have a rummage.  That is why she is so great to have on your team… because styling is about so much more than just flowers and decoration.  It is about how things feel and look and how everything in the setting, including you, sits in harmony to create a relaxed, intimate and personal occasion.

Karen

Karen has been my fabulous event co-ordinator for the last few years and has learnt the ropes with me from scratch, which means you are in safe hands when I am out and about.
Meticulous and multilingual, she knows all the processes, suppliers and how the events work on the day.  She loves pulling everything together and her friendly personality and openness ensures easy communication between everyone.
Always ready to help, you can rely on Karen to support you with anything and everything admin on your wedding planning journey.

Tony

Tony is your Operations Manager and looks after on-the-day logistics.  He is a qualified chef in French Haute Cuisine and had both Banqueting and Restaurant Manager roles in International hospitality chains as well as high end, boutique hotels.  He can look at a room, barn or field and know exactly how to lay it out.  He makes a wicked cocktail, has a dry sense of humour and a gorgeous Irish accent – just the combination you need for your evening bar manager… Oh, and I am also proud to call him my husband!
