What we love
We have worked in exclusive partnership with the Aristocratic Chateau as a wedding venue in the Dordogne, for several years and couples and their guests never cease to be wowed by their first sighting of the chateau sitting high above them on the approach road. We really love the elegance of both the interior and exterior and the pool that sits way above the chateau.

Weddings & Events
- The large courtyard accessed over the dry moat is ideal for ceremonies and receptions (meals are also possible for small numbers)
- Dining and dancing takes place under a tent or marquee on the large gravel turning circle, dominated by the beautiful oak tree at its centre and with views to the chateau and over the surrounding tree tops.
- Higher up the hill the pool and its terrace is a great place for drinks receptions and post wedding barbecues that can spill down onto the small meadow below
- A series of vaulted, interconnecting basement rooms make for a great dancing room or atmospheric dining room for small numbers
- Around the site the varied grounds include woodland where a ceremony is a possibility
- The large lower meadow is a great space for pre-and post wedding day get-together and activities
- Glamping on site is also a possibility
